If you have ever considered SCUBA diving your first step is to have a TRY DIVE.
Try dives are a SCUBA diving session in the swimming pool that we use for our training.
A try dive session starts with a talk on safety, scuba equipment and communicating under water. An instructor will then take you to the pool. You will be helped into your scuba equipment before being taken for your first steps in the underwater world
The minimum age for a try dive is 12 years old (under 16's need to be accompanied by an adult)
You must consider your self medically fit and be able to swim. You will also be asked to sign a British Sub-Aqua Club disclaimer.
A try dive only costs £15 per person, which includes the use of scuba equipment. You will need to bring with you a swimming costume, towel, tee shirt and a £1 coin (returnable) for the locker.
